British Airways aircraft lifted into shopping center

British Airways and an educational entertainment group, KidZania London, located at the Westfield shopping center in Shepherd’s Bush, London, have entered into a partnership.

The partnership has resulted in the body of a BA-branded A319 aircraft being lifted into the site. The entire process took around 48 hours to complete. Kidzania is based on the creation of realist role-playing, experienced in actual settings. It targets children between the ages of four and fourteen.

The installation of the aircraft took more than a year to plan with Transport for London, Network Rail, Westfield London, and each county that the aircraft body had to pass through on its route to London, fr om Kemble Airbase in Gloucestershire.

The head of marketing at British Airways, Abigail Comber, stated the airlines’ excitement about KidZania entering London. She said the airline simply had to be part of this wonderful adventure.

She added that the events over the weekend are the first step of an incredible journey wh ere young children’s dreams and imaginations will spring to life. The chairman of KidZania London, Joel Cadbury, expressed his delight at having British Airways as a partner.
