A new family entertainment center Glitch is preparing to open in Dubai. The official opening is scheduled for June 19 in Al Ghurair Shopping Mall.
The entertainment center has a total area of 40,000 square feet. Located on the mall’s second floor, Glitch features various upscale attractions for the whole family, including the extreme climbing of Newton’s Wall. Other attractions at the new center include Kazu for beginner ninjas and an indoor SkySurf roller glider allowing the opportunity to fly at 10 feet.
The state-of-the-art arcade deserves special mention for all gaming groups. The Glitch features both nostalgia-inducing old video games and the latest virtual reality games. A great addition to the new center is the eight-lane BeastBowl with Brunswick’s state-of-the-art automatic scoring system.
The new amusement park also features attractions for children ages 4 and up. For example, Pandora’s Peak, allows children to explore a multi-level maze with cotton candy clouds. And Loop-de-Loop is a slide with a platform of 10 meters high. The entertainment park is completed by an area with snacks, sweets, candy and other treats for guests.
Bert Grogor, Vice President of Leisure and Entertainment at GLITCH, said, “GLITCH was not created to be just another theme park, land, or zone. We set out to create a unique, immersive experience that allows visitors to express their ‘extra’, let their hair down, and enjoy a day of non-stop fun and excitement. Our focus on adventure, active entertainment, and cutting-edge attractions is what sets us apart, and we’re delighted to offer something truly different for families looking to create unforgettable memories together.”
