The Great Mall of the Great Plains - the largest outlet mall in the state of Kansas, currently features over 80 stores and restaurants. Burlington Coat Factory, Famous Labels, Foozles Bookstore, Group USA Clothing Company, and VF Outlet are the mall's anchor stores; amenities include indoor glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course, a food court, an arcade, and a Dickinson Theatres movie theater with sixteen screens.
Great Mall of the Great Plains was co-developed by Jordan Robert Perlmutter & Co and Glimcher Realty Trust. The mall was intended to feature a "value oriented megamall" with traditional mall stores, a mix of outlet stores, big box retail, and entertainment venues, comparable to malls developed by the former Mills Corporation.
The mall featured several anchor stores: Linens 'n Things, Oshman's SuperSports USA, Burlington Coat Factory, Group USA Clothing Company, Marshalls, Foozles Bookstore, and Dillard's clearance center. Other original features of the mall included a family entertainment center called Jeepers!, a food court, and a Dickinson movie theater. Great Mall of the Great Plains opened with 150 stores laid out in a half-mile racetrack.
