In 1987, Disney in North America, Europe, and Japan opened its first The Disney Store in Glendale, California. The Disney Store is the retail merchandising division of Disney Consumer Products, of The Walt Disney Company and its subsidiaries. Disney Store provides high-quality Disney brand products, including exclusive product, ranges that support and improve Disney’s important entertainment initiatives and characters like Disney, Disney-Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Marvel.
There are currently more than 200 Disney Store in the themed retail model throughout North America. There are over forty Disney Stores located in Japan and more than a hundred Disney Store locations in Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Disney Stores offer kids of all ages a magic kingdom shopping experience at one of the world’s largest and most successful entertainment companies.
