The company was founded in January 1991 and since its inception, it is considered as one of the most dynamically developing Polish supermarket chains in the grocery industry. Network’s headquarters are located in Lublin.The system was established in the 1991 year and during the first six years of operation has opened six retail outlets in Lublin.“MAXIMA Grupė” acquired the retail store chain “ALDIK” in February 2012. Within two years, the stores, which operated in Lublin Voivodeship and Podkarpackie Voivodeship, changed gradually — part of them were renovated primarily, in the other stores, according to the customers’ needs, the assortment of products was reviewed and rearranged. The company currently has 24 supermarkets the bakery and the confectionery workshop, located in the provinces of Lublin (Lublin, Swidnik, Kraśnik, Poniatowa Krasnystaw, Bilgoraj, Lublin), Subcarpathian (Rzeszow, Steel Wola), Mazowieckie (Warsaw) and Podlasie (Zambrów).
In the Aldik supermarkets, customers may acquire fresh and smoked meat, dairy products, and culinary products. Daily, from the bakery “7 grains” established in Lublin and the confectionery workshop at the store, the fresh baked goods and confectionery products, which the customers of “ALDIK” in Lublin Voivodeship and Podkarpackie Voivodeship became fond of, will arrive. The products of total almost 10 thousand names are offered to the customers. The network is not only supermarkets but also corporate Bakery and Pastry-Karnia whose products are enjoying high reputation through inhabitants of Lubelszczyzna. Supermarkets chain Aldik was honored, among others, the honor of “Company medal” – awarded by the Governor of Lublin. Ten new stores are planned to open, part of them in Warsaw.
