Westgate is a lifestyle and family shopping mall in Jurong East, Singapore. It is the only mall with direct connections to both Jurong East MRT station and Jurong East Bus Interchange.
Located at the heart of Jurong Gateway, the integrated retail and office development compromises of a 7-level lifestyle and family shopping mall and a 20-level office tower known as Westgate Tower.
Jurong Gateway is set to be Singapore’s largest regional centre. Westgate is the only mall with direct connections to both the Jurong East MRT and bus interchanges, and amenities such as the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. To cater to its young shoppers, there is Westgate Wonderland, an 11,000 square foot outdoor playground with a customised fantasy theme on Level 4 – Singapore’s largest thematic outdoor playground in a mall. There is also the Kids Club, a 4,600 square foot thematic outdoor playground with an indoor clubhouse, on Level 5.

Features mall architecture
Westgate’s design draws inspiration fr om Jurong’s original landscape, while connecting to its aspirations for the future. The complex has been conceived as an urban oasis, with lush landscaped areas for the public to enjoy. Using sculptural plantings to enchance landscape and feature palms to create visual statement. Vertical greenery is integrated into the facade design to add to the visual aestetics and green feeling of the building.
Planning
Its offerings from Basement 2 to Level 5 will meet the varied needs of shoppers. They include a courtyard wh ere alfresco dining takes place, international/high street fashion, IT and electronics stores, Isetan department store and supermarket, food court and family restaurants. There will also be a themed play area called Westgate Wonderland on Level 4, a gym with swimming pool and a childcare centre as well as Westgate’s very own Kids Club at Level 5.
