The cinema, along with Everyman, the independent chain, will commence by screening films which have been selected by designers of the Masters campaign. The campaign includes the work of influential designers, such as Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs and Paul Smith, among others, who were chosen for the massive impact they have had on fashion over the past five decades.
The 12 Masters’ film choice will comprise of their favorite movies.
Along with old favorites, the cinema will screen a range of new releases, with the first being Woody Allen’s Magic in the Moonlight, starring Colin Firth and Emma Stone. It is a movie set on the French Riviera during the 1920s. The film will be screened ahead of its official release date of September 19, giving Woody Allen fans a chance to see it before anyone else.
The theatre is set to open tomorrow, with a screening of the classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Breathless, The Wolf of Wall Street and the Grand Budapest Hotel.
