Zara is a Spanish clothing and accessories retailer with its headquarters based in Arteixo, Galicia, Spain. The company founded by Amancio Ortega and Rosalia Mera in 1975. Zara also happens to be the flagship chain store for the Inditex group, which is the world’s largest apparel retailer. The group also owns brands like; Pull and Bear, Massimo Dutti, Uterque, Bershka, and Stradivarius. According to the company, Zara only needs two weeks to develop a new product and have it delivered to stores. The company launches approximately 10,000 new designs each year.  

During 1980, Amancio started changing the design, manufacturing, and design to adapt to new trends and to reduce lead times, calling it “instant fashions’. The company also started opening its stores in other countries in 1980. Currently, Zara has stores in 88 countries. Zara stores offered a variety of products from men and women and divided subdivided into; lower garment, upper garment, cosmetics, shoes, complements and children’s clothing.
