Southern California-based active clothing brand Vuori made a significant stride on Tuesday by launching its first-ever joint capsule collection of gender-neutral sneakers in collaboration with footwear brand Clae, as reported by Retail Dive.
Dubbed the Malone Lite Vuori, the footwear line showcases three retro-inspired styles, drawing inspiration from fitness, including black, white, and off-white colors. The collaboration with Clae incorporates the letter “V” for Vuori on each sneaker.
Priced at $160, the new Vuori sneakers are available in sizes ranging from 4 to 13 for men and 5.5 to 14.5 for women. The line is being offered for a limited time and can be purchased through Vuori and Clae’s e-commerce websites. This latest release from Vuori marks a partnership between the two Southern California-based brands.
Since 2001, Los Angeles-based company Clae has been designing minimalist footwear products with a focus on minimizing environmental impact. The collaborative footwear with Vuori is crafted from recycled materials, including mesh and lining.
The launch of Vuori’s new offering comes just two months after the company appointed four new top-level executives. Following a $400 million investment from SoftBank in 2021, Vuori has been experiencing consistent expansion.
In October, the brand opened its first flagship store in New York City’s Soho district, occupying a 5,000-square-foot space, marking its first East Coast presence. It came just a month after Vuori debuted its inaugural international store in London. At the time, the company announced plans to open over 100 stores within the next five years.
