Foot Locker set to enter the Indian market

Metro Brands Ltd will oversee the operation of Foot Locker's brick-and-mortar stores, while Nykaa Fashion will manage its online presence. The inaugural store will be located at Select City Walk Mall in New Delhi, coinciding with the launch of the Foot Locker website and shop-in-shop options on Nykaa Fashion and Nykaa Man platforms.

Strategic importance of the Indian market

In a statement, Peter Scaturro, senior vice president for strategic planning and growth at Foot Locker Inc., highlighted the significance of this launch: “Bringing Foot Locker to India through licensing arrangements with Metro Brands and Nykaa Fashion marks a pivotal milestone in our global expansion.
