The family-oriented shopping center covers an area of 54,000m2 and has space for 180 stores in the two stories dedicated to retail business. Bory Mall also counts on 2,400 parking spaces and is part of a larger overall retail destination with the adjacent retail park. The complex features some interesting features in the design, such as interior green areas. Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas’ studio was responsible for the architectural work on the mall.
Work started here in January 2013 and the anticipated November 2014 launch date has now been achieved.
A Giant Kid’s Play Area
The word from Penta is that Bory Mall is expected to be an attractive family destination, due to the mix of tenants and the “large and diversified entertainment areas”. In fact, the center contains the biggest kid’s playground in all of Slovakia, known as Buppi and giving children 4.200m2 of playing and educational opportunities. As well as this, there is also a fitness center, a climbing wall, an IMAX and a 12 screen cinema.
Among the fashion outlets in Bory Mall are C&A, Mango, H&M, Terranova and LPP Group. The sporting needs of visitors are to be taken care of by Intersport and Sports Direct. In terms of food options, Billa supermarket is joined by fast food outlets, restaurants and coffee shops.
