The mall was erected during 1992 and is the only enclosed mall within a 40 mile radius of Sebring. The marketing and management teams of JLL will be led by vice presidents, Heather Levesque and Chris Ralph, along with Florida Retail Market Lead, John Lambert. The leasing task of the mall will be in the hands of Andrew Dieringer.
The managing directors of JLL, Carson Good, Margaret Caldwell and Kris Cooper, sold this property to BV Belk Properties during the early months of this year. The sale was timed in line with the upswing in the Florida retail market. The ability of BV Belk to capitalize on the value enhancement of the mall and respond with a repositioning and renovation plan is set to boost the growth and future yields of the mall.
Sebring hosts the Sebring International Raceway, which offers the ’12 Hours of Sebring Endurance Race’. This is one of the most prestigious and oldest global races, which attracts in excess of 100000 visitors on an annual basis. The mall will act as the retail center point to serve central Florida on US Highway 27, which is an important north to south area between Orlando and Miami. It carries an average of around 38500 vehicles on a daily basis.
