More than 90% of the retail space has already been leased, and there is plenty of interest in the remaining commercial premises. Recently, leases have been signed with the Finnish clothing chain Kekäle, the new restaurant concept Flavourium, and Vapaus Bikes Finland Oy, which specialises in services to cyclists and other ecological means of transport.
In its Tripla store, Kekäle will focus on brands that are usually sold in High Street stores in big cities. The selection of brands is mouthwatering: among the brands sold in the Tripla store are Canada Goose, Gant, Makia, Parajumpers, Samsoe & Samsoe, Ted Baker and Tommy Hilfiger.
“Tripla will be quite unique in scale, which is why it is a great place for us to open our first multi-brand store in Helsinki. We believe that our wide range of branded clothing will be an excellent addition to the other fashion shops at Tripla,” says CEO Joonas Kekäle from Kekäle Oy.
In Mall of Tripla, the Kekäle store will be located in the lively Little Manhattan on the 4th floor, directly accessible from the train station. The location is conveniently opposite the reception of Sokos Hotel Tripla, thus easily found by tourists and other travellers. The store is about 800 square metres in area, providing high visibility for the interesting brands and ample space for the customers who will receive first-class personal service from the friendly staff.
The latest addition to Tripla’s restaurant complex is the new Flavourium, where customers can embark on an exclusive culinary journey in a unique atmosphere filled with delicacies, exhibitions and events until late at night. The dishes created from high-quality ingredients offer surprising culinary experiences, with exquisite drinks and cocktails capping off the evening. The restaurant is located on the fifth floor of Tripla, together with the upper level the “Tower”, the latest concept of Viihderavintolat. The fifth floor is located at a height of nearly 40 metres above sea level, which means that both of these two restaurants offer a magnificent view to the south and north.
Cycling is becoming ever more popular in Finland, especially in the Helsinki metropolitan area. For Tripla, a functional cycling concept was sought from the beginning. To that end, the Danish and Dutch models were carefully studied. Tripla wants to develop Finnish cycling culture and improve the cycling experience of those living, commuting and travelling in the Helsinki metropolitan area. That is exactly what our new partner, Vapaus, wants as well. At Tripla, Vapaus will be offering a wide range of services: a secure bicycle park, showers and changing rooms with lockers, bicycle servicing, bicycle renting, tips on the best cycling routes and so on. Vapaus also offers bicycles and different kinds of electric vehicles for companies as all-inclusive service.
Mall of Tripla’s exceptionally high occupancy rate six months before the opening is the result of the excellent work carried out by Tripla’s commercial team in recent years.
“Tripla is planned to house a biggest Food & Beverage concept in Finland, including dozens of restaurants, five excellent grocery stores and the Market Zoo, an indoor food market for small producers. Culture and entertainment will be provided by the Finnish Music Hall of Fame (FAME), Cinamon cinema, Helsinki Ballet Academy, HopLop adventure park and Surf Beach Helsinki with its indoor surfing and beach volleyball facilities,” says Vice President Pirjo Aalto, Director of Commercial Development at YIT.
