On Wednesday, Dior launched a prominent pop-up boutique for its Miss Dior label at Harrods, celebrating the nearly 70-year relationship between the luxury fashion house and the iconic Knightsbridge department store. The pop-up will be open until late August. Exclusive collections and displays This “unprecedented” pop-up showcases the Autumn/Winter 2024 ready-to-wear collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. In addition to clothing, the boutique features a range of products including shoes, leather goods, eyewear, textile accessories, and jewelry. The Miss Dior pop-up is prominently highlighted in multiple window displays, emphasizing vibrant colors. The windows feature “captivating variations of the iconic Lady Dior,” with a focus on hues from red to green, and an eye-catching Diorama in various chromatic shades. Boutique design and special features The boutique’s design reflects the energetic spirit of the 1960s, honoring Maria Grazia Chiuri’s tribute to the Miss Dior line. The walls are adorned with sculptures showcasing the season’s new bags in striking shades of pink, purple, and lime. The Miss Dior logo, now a signature motif, is featured prominently throughout the boutique. It appears in various forms, from all-over patterns to bold graffiti. This motif is printed oversized on trench coats, jackets, skirts, and is also featured on the Dior Book Tote, Dior Tribales earrings, scarves, belts, and Dway mules. Exclusive anniversary models In celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Harrods Brompton Road building, the boutique offers 175 exclusive Miss Dior and Dior Book Tote models, each available in limited, numbered editions. Dior’s collaboration with Harrods has a storied history, including a notable event during Christmas 2022, when the brand illuminated the store’s façade with festive lights and decorated the windows with sugar sculptures and merchandise.
