Marstall shopping center offers flexible design for stores

Marstall  Ludwigsburg shopping center managed by ECE and owned by the ECE European Prime Shopping Centre Fund. Current 100 million euros redevelopment will give a completely new look for the center.

ECE offers a new, flexible architectural design for shops in the mall: retailers can use the flexible shop facade facing the mall to extend the promotional effect of their shops into the center to showcase their products and get closer to the customer.

Now, the center’s occupancy rate is at 95 percent: most of the tenants have been signed on the sales area of 25,700m². Half of the 70 brands will debut in Ludwigsburg and will set up shop for the first time. 

The fashion retailers TK Maxx, Only, Reserved, Tom Tailor and Tom Tailor Denim, Hunkemöller, and Heimatliebe as well as the very popular labels Superdry and Snipes will premiere in Ludwigsburg. The supermarket chain Tegut, which will open a shop on a retail space of 2,500 m², the sporting goods retailer Ochsner Sport, which will open its second store in Germany at Marstall, as well as the lifestyle concept Xenos, the games retailers Game Stop, and McPaper will also come to Ludwigsburg for the first time. 

New to Ludwigsburg city center are fashion retailers Krass Optik, K&L Ruppert, Nanu-Nana, the cosmetics concept Rituals as well as the Douglas perfumery whose move to Marstall will mark the company’s return to the city center.

Further renowned brands and tenants which complement the diverse range of retailers at Marstall are the fashion retailers Jack&Jones, H&M, and Vero Moda, the shoe retailers Deichmann and Shoe Town, a dm drug store, the accessories labels Bijou Brigitte and The P Cookery, the optician Eyes and More, a Vodafone shop, a Dietz butcher’s shop and a Katz bakery. Saturn electronics store  will relocate to Marstall from its current location.

The food retailer Burgerista, one of the highlights of the new food court, will premier in Southern Germany and will thus operate their second restaurant in Germany.  The Swabian food retail concept Herr Kächele will open its first ever outlet at a food court. Among the other food retailers on the new food court are Pizza Si, Kochlöffel, Oliva, Curry&Fritz, and a Gyuza sushi bar. Furthermore, 

The center will be connected to the city and the surrounding streets and squares by an exterior terrace, by seating steps leading to Reithausplatz, and the seating offered by the food retailers. 

The new Marstall plans to open on September 30, 2015.
