Val d’Europe is one of the leading shopping centres in France. Named after the community in which it is located, the shopping center opened in 2000. In the past 14 years, Val d’Europe has become its region’s commercial heart, ranking among France’s most dynamic shopping sites. The center (98,400 sq.m. GLA) currently houses 145 stores and welcomes more than 16 million visitors each year, 10% of them from the Disneyland Paris park.
In January 2012 it received the French Retailers Procos Association Award for the best French retail development of the last 20 years!
The Val d’Europe shopping center is located on land owned by Euro Disney and
is co-owed by Klépierre (55%) and AXA (45%).
To better meet its customers’ expectations, the Val d’Europe shopping center
constantly undergoes renewal. Val d’Europe is still growing, with an extension due to open in 2016.
Location and accessibility
Located in one of the strategic areas of the Paris region, Val d’Europe is an extremely accessible destination point near the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport. A few minutes from Disneyland Paris, the centre is served by TGV, the RER line A
and motorways.
It is easily accessible from the A4 freeway, the RER commuter rail network, and the free shuttles from Disneyland Resort Paris, and is also not far from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.
Val d’Europe has exceptional accessibility at the core of western Europe. With 68 trains a day, the TGV/Eurostar station, located by the Disney Parks and less than 2,000 metres from the town centre, is France’s leading TGV station in terms of connections.
