The Mall of the Emirates is the second shopping mall by the size in the Middle East with its trade territory of approximately 2,400,000 square feet (223,000 m2) and the entire are of the centre is approximately 6.5 million square feet. There are more than 4000 parking places.

The Mall of the Emirates is owned by Majid Al Futtaim (MAF Holding). It was designed by the American architectural firm, F+A Architects.
