About this mall
Macon Mall is a two level super-regional mall located in Macon, Georgia. The mall opened in 1975 with Davison’s, Belk, J C Penney and Sears as its anchor stores.
The mall underwent a renovation and expansion in 1997, adding Dillard’s and Parisian to the mall. Parisian was bought out by Belk and the Parisian was closed. It was once the largest mall in Georgia, until the opening of the Mall of Georgia in Gwinnett County. Currently it is still one of the largest in the state of Georgia. It has four anchors: Belk, JC Penney, Macy’s, and Sears. Dillard’s closed in late December 2008.
