About this mall

Forum Steglitz shopping center is located in the south west of Berlin. The mall was first opened in 1968 and went through extension and modernization works in 2002.

This single storey mall with 40,000 square meters of retail space accommodates over 100 stores. Visitors will find a variety of small and mid-sized specialist stores, cafés and restaurants, as well as nationwide chain stores. The mall is anchored by H&M, Leiser, C&A, dm Drogerie Markt, KiK and Intersport Voswinkel. Other well known tenants include McDonalds, Wöhrl, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, T-Punkt, Lidl and REWE.

Märkische center is located in the heart of Märkischen district in Berlin Reinickendorf-Wittenau.

Bigger display windows and a canopy over the central passage changed the whole appearance of the complex. The new atrium with its silver metallic and grey metallic aluminium composite material cladding, attracts now many visitors. A unique cladding design made of folded tray panels create horizontal strips flowing seamless into the atrium. Interior and exterior merge smoothly together.  For the main building panels painted in a special patina green metallic colour were used, creating the impression of large copper scale.
