In 1956 Eaton’s applied for a re-zoning of a property formerly the St. Patrick’s Boys Home. Work began in 1961. Developed by Webb and Knapp (Canada) Ltd., Halifax Shopping Centre purchased the West End Mall and redeveloped it in 1991.
