Princeton Forrestal Village is a 720,000 square foot, 52 acre mixed-use retail, restaurant, hotel and office complex in Princeton, New Jersey along Route 1 providing dining and retail shopping opportunities, personal and professional services, commercial office space and accommodations. It is located just north of Princeton University’s Forrestal campus, whose name it is derived from. The center is anchored by Can Do Fitness Cando Fitness, Princeton Forrestal Westin Hotel & Conference Center and three upscale restaurants – Ruth’s Chris Steak House , Salt Creek Grille and TrePiani.
The Village’s goal is to be recognized as a regional center for community events and activities, and this has become a focus of destination marketing efforts. The Village is the site for community and charitable events including a Kidney Foundation Walk, Eden 5k Run, American Heart Walk, Alzheimer Walk, and Arthritis Foundation Walk. The Forrestal Summer Swing, sponsored by Princeton Dance and Theater (PDT), offers salsa and swing dancing ever Thursday night during the summer. PDT co-owner Susan Jaffe, an internationally acclaimed ballerina, provides lessons during the first hour. Movies on Main Street, presented every Friday night during August, transform the Village into a gathering spot for the community.
