Deptford Mall is conveniently located just off Route 42 and Route 55 at County Route 544.
The Deptford Mall is the seventh largest mall in the state of New Jersey and the largest in the South Jersey region. In 2007, Macerich purchased the Deptford Mall for $241 million from Simon Property Group. In 2012, the Deptford Mall completed its first renovation since 2000. The two escalators were moved to each end of the mall and an elevator added in the center.
Owned and managed by The Macerich Company, Deptford Mall is the county’s only fully enclosed regional shopping centre. Opened in 1975, Deptford Mall had three anchor stores: Sears, Bamberger’s and Wanamaker’s. There are also over 150 specialty stores.
Today, Deptford Mall’s 1,042,000 sq. ft. of retail space is anchored by: Boscov’s, J. C. Penney, Macy’s and Sears.
