Opened in 1987, the Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall houses 102 businesses and proudly caters to shoppers from all walks of life; oil mogul, crab fisherman and military members, to name a few. Anchorage 5th Avenue occupies just 41,528 square meters, but the vertical design makes the space look bigger. Mall hours of operation and space-expanding lighting draw shoppers, even during Alaska’s dark days in the winter.
