Swedish retailer H&M is preparing to open a flagship home goods store in Paris in XXL format. The shopping space will be located in the Madeleine area in the city’s center, close to the first IKEA in the city’s center. The official opening of the store will take place before the end of fall 2021.
The total area of the shopping space will be 724 square meters. H&M will present all currently available collections of home goods and interior items in its stores and products from a collaboration with other brands.
The new H&M Home will feature products for every room, bedding, accessories, clothing for the home, children’s toys, and storage systems. H&M promises to provide home decorating options at budget-friendly prices.
The company promises a special gala weekend with special guests and “an exceptional digital experience to celebrate the opening.
H&M has been actively developing its single-brand home improvement stores in recent years, opening H&M Home outlets in upscale locations and popular shopping malls. Today’s household goods segment is one of the fastest-growing and most promising in light of the trend for people to move to a remote mode of work and, consequently, the increased time spent at home.
