Franklin Mills renamed to Philadelphia Mills

Written by:
The mall has a range of fashion outlets, such as Neiman Marcus Last Call, and an expanded Walmart ready for its opening next week.
The owner made the decision to drop the "Franklin Mills" lightning-bolt logo and name and has replaced it with green and orange building-block doorways and simple orange on brown gates.
Simon has sold many of the smaller shopping malls in its portfolio, to concentrate on a group of large properties which it hopes to turn into day-long visit destinations.  It has control over the massive King of Prussia shopping complex, which is one of the biggest on the East Coast, with connections between the Mall and the Plaza via a corridor of new stores.  It also has control over the Philadelphia premium Outlets at Limerick, Gloucester Premium Outlets in South Jersey and Montgomery Mall, among others.
Simon is planning at least a dozen new restaurants or stores at Philadelphia Mills over the next 12 months.  This will be the site of the city’s first Express Factory Outlet clothing store and it is currently searching for new tenants.  It has commenced the building of the first of two new entrances to the mall and new signs and landscaping will be included in the project.  The mall is set to have new lighting, floors, skylights and upgraded restrooms installed, along with device-charging stations and WiFi.
Along with Walmart and Neiman Marcus, discount outlets, such as Nike Factory Store, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store and SaksOffFifth will be included in the tenant list, along with the largest Forever 21 in the area.

The mall will offer visitors a destination that is family-friendly, with exclusive entertainment and dining.
