First UK retailer to accept Bitcoin

The Bitcoin value constantly fluctuates, but this is overcome by an adjustment to reflect the variance between the currencies.
Bitcoin was developed by a Japanese businessman during 2009 and allows for easy transfer of funds throughout the world. Unlike normal currencies, it is not controlled by the government or other organisations.
CeX is using this system at their Glasgow branch for around three days, but it has already received good reviews. Shoppers have found it easy to use with initial help from staff.
This method of payment is gaining popularity in the UK with online stores and a taxi business in Edinburgh already using it.
The senior manager for CeX has stated that the trial for Bitcoin is relevant in view of the referendum on Scottish independence. People are concerned about the currency they will have to use in future, and this new currency may be the answer.
