Ebay has opened its own streetwear store in New York City. The outlet called “Canal Street Wear” offers customers authenticated items from sellers of the trading platform.
The store will be open twice a week, on Fridays and Saturdays. The selection will feature men’s and women’s clothing from top-rated vendors, including NYMilan, RIF and Soled Out Jersey City.
The store features streetwear and footwear from luxury and athletic brands, including Nike, New Balance, Louis Vuitton, Bape and Chrome Hearts. Shoppers will also have the option to have items authenticated for free by a team of experts specializing in street fashion.
With the opening of the new store, EBay is expanding its own authentic goods program, which launched in June. In the first phase, the online giant accepted items from luxury brands including Vetements, Off-White and Supreme for examination. The opening followed a surge in consumer demand for streetwear and 2023.

In recent years, Ebay has been fighting fakes on its own platform, expanding its authentication services for sneakers, clothing, watches and other goods.
