Celebrating cultural exchange through cuisine

Spanning 200 square meters, the café serves as a cultural bridge between China and Italy, with Italian cuisine at its core. Located on the second floor of the brand’s flagship store in Citic Square, the café combines both formal and casual dining experiences, allowing local patrons to savor authentic Italian flavors.

A gourmet menu with Italian flair

The café features a gourmet menu inspired by Southern Italian cuisine, offering classic afternoon teas, hors d’oeuvres, mains, and desserts. Unique dessert options include cakes shaped like Sicilian lemons and Dolce & Gabbana roses, alongside tiramisu served in coffee pots adorned with the brand’s iconic Sicilian chariot motif.

“It is an honor to open the world’s first D&G Café in Shanghai. We look forward to strengthening our presence in the Chinese market, showcasing the art of Italian craftsmanship and promoting Dolce & Gabbana’s pursuit of well-being as a lifestyle,” said Alfonso Dolce, CEO of Dolce & Gabbana.

Signature design meets exclusive collaborations

The café’s interior reflects the brand’s distinctive aesthetic, prominently featuring the Sicilian chariot motif to create a Mediterranean ambiance. It also showcases exclusive collaborations with renowned Italian producers, such as Bialetti for coffee pots, Sicilian winery Donnafugata, Fiasconaro for desserts, and pasta maker Di Martino from Gragnano, further enhancing the Dolce & Gabbana experience.
