Ostsee Park Rostock

About this mall

The mall was originaly opened in 1994, and went through extension and refurbishment works in 2012. Around six million euros were invested in the expansion of 4,130 m². This expansion has increased rental revenues by over 1 million euros.

Specialist superstores, specialist smaller retailers, restaurants and cafés can all be found under one roof. Fifteen new tenants have moved into the extension, predominantly from the fashion sector, amongst others Esprit, Gerry Weber, Tom Tailor, Herzog & Bräuer and Runners Point. With its expansion and improved mix of retailers, Ostsee Park has developed into a speciality shopping center (hybrid mall).

The mall is located in Lambrechtshagen, a municipality (vilage) in the Rostock district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.

Getting Here:
BY BUS
With the Küstenbus line 121 (bus stops right in the fromt of the center) or:
Bus line 27 ( change the bus at Reutershagen and take the number 33 from here. Bus number 33 goes directly to Ostsee Park).

The new facade reveals itself as an oversized shop window, and displays the colourful life in the mall as well as the majority of the new businesses from a distance. Maritime shapes and symbols characterise the new look of the real estate property, even its interior. This includes a curvy outline reminiscent of waves, and green areas evoking the impression of dunes. In order to encourage visitors to the center to take a break, a new relaxation zone has been created between the car park and the center, inviting visitors to stay a while.
