The Grand Opening of “K in Lautern” is scheduled for spring 2015. The property, located in the downtown core of the high-tech and university city in Rhineland-Palatinate, will provide an overall retail space of nearly 21,000 square meters after its opening – spread across four levels featuring shops, restaurants and services. In addition to approximately 100 specialty stores, restaurants, cafés and service providers around 490 parking spaces will also be built The new project will connect the pedestrian zone, which has been divided due to urban planning. The shopping center is part of the overall project “Neue Stadtmitte Kaiserslautern”.
The building will be constructed according to sustainability aspects and has already been granted the pre-certificate of the German Association for Sustainable Building (DGNB) in silver.
