With 100 stores and services including Indigo Books & Music, Best Buy, Goodlife Fitness, Sportchek, Petcetera, Saskatoon Co-op Food Store, Target and Saskatoon's only official Rider Store, Rocky Mountain Chocolate and Bath and Body Works, The Centre Saskatoon is the areas major shopping venue.
Originally called The Centre at Circle and 8th, The Centre Saskatoon was created through the 1995 amalgamation of Wildwood Mall and Circle Park Mall. Purchased by Devan Properties Inc. (now Morguard Corporation), the two malls were connected by an underground link. The two "sides" of The Centre Saskatoon mall are known as "Centre East" and "Centre West".
In 2009, Zellers location was demolished to clear space for Best Buy retail store opened in 2010. The Safeway store became a standalone building. In 2009, the city's first Indigo Books and Music location opened as a standalone building.
Target Canada converted the Zellers store to a Target in 2013. Canada Safeway closed in 2014. Saskatoon Co-op relocated its 8th Street grocery store there in 2014.
