Rencor was the succesful applicant to a national proposal call, formed a joint venture with two Saskatchewan companies, completed all development, leasing and financing for the project. A novel co-ownership / partnership was formed with the University of Saskatchewan, the project was sited on 46 acres of their lands, and architecture mirrored the gothic elements of the University campus buildings.
The centre is strategically located on University lands at a new interchange, Preston Road and Circle Drive. Unique architectural details mirroring the gothic styles of the University buildings.
The centre was originally developed, leased and financed by Rencor, with two local Saskatchewan co-owners. The centre was acquired by the one of the co-owners in Fall 2005. It remains Saskatoon's most dominant retail centre.
