Place Laurier was Quebec’s first indoor mall. Sears, which opened in 1971 is the oldest remaining anchor. In the 1970s Place Laurier had two Dominion supermarkets at the same time. In the 1990s it had two Zellers stores at the same time. In 2013, Target opened a store in the Zellers’ space.
