In 1984, Toys R Us launched its international stores by opening the first store in Canada. Some of the countries where Toys R Us operates its stores outside the United States include; Australia, Canada, Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
