Born 1992 in a California beach house, Skechers first utility boot became an icon of the grunge era for fashion-driven men, women, and kids. Fast forward twenty years: the offering of one has grown to hundreds of styles found around the world – from Canada to Chile, Spain to Sweden, Hong Kong, Singapore to Malaysia.
With its domestic retail, wholesale, and franchising business moving at full-speed, the Company has exported its business model around the world, successfully developing an international network that includes ten subsidiaries serving 12 countries, three joint ventures and a network of more than 40 distributors and franchisees. There are now over 550 Skechers stores in more than 50 countries across six continents from company-owned locations in iconic destinations like Times Square and London’s Oxford Street, to franchised and licensed stores in countries like Canada, Ireland, Spain and Portugal.
