B&Q, also known as Block & Quayle is a British multinational home improvement and DIY retailer with its headquarters in Eastleigh, England. B&Q has stores in the United Kingdom, Ireland and China. B&Q is the company with the largest DIY retail chain in the United Kingdom and China. It is also the second largest DIY retailer in Europe and the fourth largest DIY retailer in the world.
By the year 2000, the company had 50 large warehouse stores which doubled by 2003. As of May 2014, B&Q had over 350 stores with over 20,800 employees. The company has nine individual stores in Ireland and 40 stores in China.
